Youth Notes
This is the last week to bring canned goods for the Souper Bowl of Caring. Please bring any canned goods or non-perishable foods to the church to be donated to The North Texas Food Bank. There is a bucket with a field goal just outside the office to put the food in.
THIS coming Sunday, February 1, 2015, we will be having a Super Bowl watching party, beginning at 5:00 p.m., and lasting until the game ends. Youth, invite friends; and girls please bring snacks, boys bring drinks.
ALSO THIS SUNDAY begins Confirmation. We will be meeting from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. every Sunday through the end of April.
ATTENTION all parents of 5th-7th graders. On Sunday, February 15, 2015, we will be traveling to FUMC Plano to attend the 2015 Bishop’s Rally. The Rally is a time for Confirmation-aged youth to meet the Bishop of the North Texas Conference, Bishop Mike McKee, and play games, eat, fellowship, and be in mission with other Confirmands from all over the conference. The cost is $5/person, and includes a free t-shirt and food. All those interested, please email Bodie by Friday, January 30, 2015, so that your child can be registered.
