At Chapel Hill, we have a monthly Mission Outreach Program (MOP). Sometimes, the MOP involves gathering donations for a food pantry, or gloves and hats for a homeless shelter, or the specific items needed at a women’s shelter. Right before the school year begins, we have Backpack Sunday and our MOP is for backpacks and school supplies. This is one of the ways that our church community can reach out to others.
