The Sew-a-thon to make the Clothes for Haiti is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2015!!! There will be two sessions; morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Obviously, we will need as many sewing machines and their operators as possible to complete the dresses that have been cut out and are ready to be sewn. There is also a need for runners to keep up with the sewers and for people to iron the finished dresses. If you would like to support the project by providing a snack, that would also be appreciated. Thank you to all the people who have already helped by washing fabric, cutting out the clothes and cutting the elastic and seam binding. It really takes a village.
