On Friday, March 1, a group of nine people from Chapel Hill UMC attended the Empty Bowls lunch at the Meyerson Symphony Center. The Empty Bowls Lunch benefits the North Texas Food Bank.
Ruth Medcalf, Judy Bader, Melanie Willhite, Kelly Patterson, Kevin Patterson, Margaret Reeves, Lisa Lane, Pat Moore and Archie Shivar enjoyed soups, bread, drinks and desserts from local restaurants and selected a handmade bowl made by area artists.
