This month, Chapel Hill’s Monthly Outreach Project will benefit Genesis Women’s Shelter, Dallas, TX.
Genesis Women’s Shelter has been a safe haven for women and children in our Dallas area since 1985. “Genesis Women’s Shelter provides shelter, safety, counseling, and expert services to battered women and their children.” (Source: www.genesisshelter.org)
We at Chapel Hill UMC can share in this ministry through our April 2014 MOP donations of:
| Sippy cups (plastic cups with lids for toddlers) | Facial tissues |
| Pedialyte | Baby lotion |
| Grocery store gift cards | African American hair products |
Outreach has spoken with Genesis Women’s Shelter and these are some of their immediate needs. When you’re out and about with errands for your family, please remember those at Genesis Women’s Shelter. Remember, if you would like or need, you can make a donation and our Outreach Team can do the shopping for you.
