A Sincere Thank You
Our communion offering last November was for Holiday Baskets that were delivered to Metrocrest clients. I delivered one to a very sweet lady who also happened to be blind. I just received this note from her and wanted to share it with the church:
Thank you so much for the lovely Christmas basket. It had all the necessities for my dinner and even more. The stamps, laundry basket and Walmart card were a great idea and addition to all the goodies! All in all you helped to make my Christmas less stressful and a very happy one. God richly bless your church and all the members that contributed to make my Christmas a full one.
Isn’t it nice to know that what we do when we reach out to the community really matters? I think so. Thank you, Chapel Hill!

P.S. We are getting the clothes for Haiti cut out right now. The next step is to prep the elastic and seam binding. We had to order a large amount of these notions and as soon as it arrives, the prep session will be scheduled. After that, we will schedule a couple of sew-a-thons. More info later with some “save the dates.”
