Our Foundations Bible Sunday School Class celebrated Passover with a Seder meal in their Sunday School classroom, the Bible Mania room, on April 2, while our older children learned about celebrating Passover with their family and friends in the Fellowship Hall.
Ms. Shanelle and Ms. Iris have shared the Passover Seder meal with their Foundations Sunday School class in previous years. This year was the first time for some of our younger children to learn about Passover and what it meant to Jesus. We also talked about Jesus praying in the garden after his Passover meal with his disciples. We all learn best by seeing, touching, tasting and that’s what we did during our Passover Seder in the Bible Mania room.
On Good Friday, we had positive activities reminding us of God’s great love for all His children.
Easter Sunday brought joyful activities thanking God for Jesus. Since our playground was wet, there were lots of eggs in the Bible Mania room with surprises for our Foundations Bible class as well as Wilson Moore, who along with Ms Ruth, has been visiting our Foundations Bible Sunday School class. Our Foundations song on Easter Sunday was “Alive, Alive, My Jesus is Alive.”
