The past two weeks in Message Experience have been very energetic and exciting. We talked about Telling Your Friends About Jesus (we made and decorated paper airplanes and wrote messages about Jesus on them to spread the word) and Following Jesus last week. The children were sent home with some “homework” for this week – they have to do something every day this week to “Follow Jesus” (it could be cleaning their room, praying, saying nice things to their family or friends, etc.) and if they return it completed on Sunday, February 1, 2015, they will get a prize!
Stay tuned… I know we don’t typically have Message Experience for communion Sundays, but for this Sunday, Feb 1 we are offering a special – Super Bowl Themed Message Experience called “Playing for God’s Team” at the beginning of the service until Communion…your kids won’t want to miss it!
