From your Trustees, a huge thank you to the 18 members who graciously gave up their Saturday morning to spruce up the church. The men worked especially hard outside cutting back the hedges and hauling off debris. Flowers were planted to beautify the flower beds near the parking lot entrance and to remind us that Easter is on the way, which represents new beginnings in our lives. A special thanks to some of the youth who did a terrific job of cleaning up the Youth Room, even mopping the floor. To the Sunday School teachers who sorted through the storage rooms and found many things that could be donated and are not being used by us anymore, we thank you. Yours was an overwhelming project. We also had a lot of metal chairs that were showing their age and had been in storage for many years. They have been donated to a new Methodist start-up church in Melissa, Texas.
As summer draws near and the Project Transformation group arrives, there is much to be done in the North Wing, so any time you can volunteer toward this, it would be gratefully appreciated. God must be smiling down on how we work together to make disciples of all, while maintaining His place of worship. It really takes a village, doesn’t it?
