Heifer project is celebrating 75 Years of working with communities to increase income, improve nutrition, care for the Earth, and end world hunger and poverty. Heifer no longer just offers livestock, but now you can choose from giving community resources like water pumps, supporting sustainable farming by providing stoves for villages, promoting women’s empowerment by helping a woman launch a small business or sending a girl to school. There is work to be done and Chapel Hill can help! Our goal is $500 which will buy an animal plus one or several of the opportunities mentioned above. Our children will get to decide what choices we will make. This communion offering is a wonderful opportunity for them to see God’s powerful work! We hope you will consider participating, every gift is appreciated!
