Our Sack Summer Hunger program has wrapped up another successful year of helping families and children fill the meal gap in the summertime. Although COVID-19 impacted our process, that did not stop us and our volunteers from safely coming together to ensure children in our communities were fed throughout the summer.
This year:
- 183,206 meals were delivered to children and their families.
- 451 families were served every week.
- Healthy meals were provided to 1,150 children each week.
- 218,103 pounds of food were distributed.
All of this amazing work would not have been possible without the help and dedication from donors, volunteers, and our eight community partners.
