What: Trustees Work Day
When: Saturday, March 17th from 9am to 1pm
It’s that time again! Spring is here and it’s time to do our before-Easter cleaning of the church and grounds. This event takes place every early spring and fall. Please bring your favorite cleaning supplies and extra vacuum cleaners, so that we have enough to make our church building spotless.
It would be nice for each Sunday School class, the Youth, and Choir rooms to clean your own space. This should include windows and blinds, vacuuming carpet, cleaning drapes or sheers, and dusting. Other areas that need attention are the staff offices, kitchen, fellowship hall, restrooms, parlor, and library. We will have job sign-ups on the bulletin board for you to select your most favorite housekeeping chore! This is a most important day since we only do it twice a year and usually just before the major holidays.
The UMM like to work outside and there is much to be done there as well. The Youth may want to weed the prayer garden as well as clean their room. The Trustees are stretched pretty thin with day-to-day emergencies and maintenance so it is doubly important ad we need help from all members.
