For several years, the Outreach committee has acquired books for the children at Cabell Elementary School and given one to each student right before the end of school. The books have always been donated by Half Price Books and this year is no exception. Thanks to the generous HPB donation, we distributed close to 600 books! It really takes more than just the members of Outreach to accomplish the huge task of sorting the books by reading level, counting them out and bagging the books by classroom. A special thank you goes to the Youth and the Fabulous Fifths who helped count and bag the books. And thank you to the Class Menagerie for letting us use your classroom this year!
