Promotion Sunday, August 30, 2015, will occur at the start of the Sunday School hour at 9:15 a.m.
Promotion Sunday is a designated Sunday in the fall around back-to-school time. It is the Sunday that every child in Sunday School gets formally walked to their new Sunday School classroom and teacher. Because Sunday School is year-round, a special Sunday is set aside to make an event of moving to the next grade level.
